An Oath

I received this in an email that our CEO sends out every week. This was the issue for New Years:

New Year's Resolutions

To your enemy, forgiveness
To an opponent, tolerance
To a friend, your heart
To a customer, service
To all, charity
To every child, a good example
To yourself, respect.


I would change that into an oath:

To my enemies, forgiveness
To my opponents, tolerance
To my friends, my heart
To my countrymen, my service
To all, charity
To every child, an example
To myself, respect.
